Terms & Conditions

By using this website or booking / receiving services from aSmall Studios or Angus Small, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

aSmall Studios & Angus Small provides music production services including (but not limited to) recording, mixing, mastering, sound design, music arrangement and photography. All services are subject to availability and agreement at the time of booking.

2. Studio Conduct & Guests

To maintain a productive, safe, and professional working environment, all clients and guests must adhere to the following:

• Only individuals directly involved in the session are permitted in the studio.

• Any additional guests (including friends, family, or collaborators not booked into the session) must receive prior approval from aSmall Studios

• The studio reserves the right to refuse entry to any unapproved individuals at its discretion.

• Large groups are not permitted.

• All clients are responsible for the behaviour of any guests they bring into the studio.

• We reserve the right to terminate a session without refund if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to staff, equipment, or other clients.

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be confirmed in advance. A deposit may be required to secure a session. Half of the overall payment for services is due upfront as the first non refundable instalment & the second instalment is due upon completion of the agreed service unless otherwise arranged in writing.

• Failure to pay on time may result in withheld delivery of final audio files or provided services.

• The first half of payment instalments are non refundable unless determined otherwise by aSmall Studios or Angus Small

• Once the final payment has been complete refunds are not accepted.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of deposit or a cancellation fee.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and will not affect agreed pricing.

5. Revisions

Unless otherwise agreed, a maximum number of 4 revisions per track are included in Mixing/Mastering Package services. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Unless otherwise agreed, a maximum number of 6 revisions per track are included in Production Package services. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

6. Project Delivery

Final deliverables will be provided in agreed formats (e.g. WAV, FLAC, MP3) once full payment has been received.

7. Copyright & Usage

Clients retain ownership of their original compositions. The rights to the Master Audio of the provided services is transferred to the client upon final payment. aSmall Studios & Angus Small reserves the right to use completed work for portfolio, promotional, or marketing purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Any samples, loops, or third-party material used must be properly licensed by the client. Angus Small & aSmall Studios is not responsible for any indirect losses, including lost profits/opportunities or legal repercussions arising from the use of unauthorized samples, loops, or third-party material which are provided by the client.

8. Liability

Angus Small & aSmall Studios is not responsible for any indirect losses, including lost profits or opportunities, arising from the use of delivered audio materials or services.

Any damage or loss, whether accidental or intentional, caused by clients or their guests will be chargeable in full. Entry to the studio constitutes acceptance of liability for any such costs. 

The studio (aSmall Studios / Angus Small) reserves the right to:

• Immediately terminate the session without refund

• Refuse future bookings

• Pursue recovery of costs through civil legal action

• Report incidents of theft or criminal damage to the police

All equipment remains the property of aSmall Studios & Angus Small at all times.

9. Website Content

All content on this website, including text, images, and audio, is owned by or licensed to aSmall Studios & Angus Small and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
